Support Our Locally Owned Pet Shop with Your Order of Plush Toys for Dogs
Dogs love to chew on a fun toy. Supplying dogs with toys to play with is necessary to encourage the physical health and well-being of your dog. Toys are not a luxury for your dog, but rather a basic need. Playtime is an important element of their emotional and intellectual health and well-being. Behavioral problems, such as biting on objects, can transpire when your pup lacks the correct outlets to follow their intuition.
Getting your dog a toy is a great way to help fight boredom when you are not at home and stop your dog from forming behavioral issues. Dogs are usually willing to play with practically anything. However, it's encouraged to provide toys that provide a variety of uses and to rotate them once a week to help keep things safe and fascinating. Educating dogs to differentiate their toys from their humans belongings can prevent them from chewing on things they should not.
How to choose dog toys:
Dog toys must be safe, entertaining, and durable. Your choice for the toys relies on the age, size, and activity level of your dog. The ideal time to present toys into your dog's daily life is when they are pups to help them develop their teeth, muscular tissues, and joints. Offer pups with toys to chew on, chase, bite, and tug as one way of helping them in thriving. Pups with baby teeth will require toys with a softer structure.
Another vital aspect when purchasing dog toys is the size of the toy relative to the size of your dog. Too small of a toy is particularly hazardous with the risk of swallowing and choking. The toy you select for your dog should be appropriate for your dogs current size. Choosing the very best dog toy will certainly ensure both a safe and fun playtime. Safety should always come first, followed by entertainment when choosing toys for your dog.
It's important to observe your dog while they have fun with their toys. Visually evaluate their toys occasionally to check that it has not been damaged to present a threat of choking. Get rid of any toy that is damaged.

What St. Charles Customers Love About Just For Paws
Our nervous puppy was in great hands at Just for Paws! They took great care in explaining what services she would require based on her unique coat as well as taking into consideration her age and inexperience to getting groomed! They gave great feedback as to how she did and were prompt in letting me know when she was ready to be picked up. We will be using Just for Paws for all of Belle’s grooming needs moving forward!
I took my boys here this past week, first timers. One is an old , nervous guy who doesn’t see too well. He is quite particular and it’s obvious if he’s upset with the world.
I can’t say enough about how calm, professional and friendly this place is. I’d highly recommend this for anyone . Boys came back poofed and crimped like they were show pups( they aren’t)
We are all looking forward to our next excursion.
Well worth the drive

They do a wonderful job and my dog always looks great. I get the monthly special, it is so worth the extra. His coat looks and smell fabulous. Great, friendly people.
I just wanted to say thank you to the amazing staff for taking such great care of Finn today! It was his first time getting a nail trim and dremel. While he was a little nervous he did great! We will be back for sure!
They did an amazing job with my German shepherd Sasha who is terrified of nail trims. I appreciate their patience and kindness!
